WordPress + Pods + AWS

hello, i was thinking of testing the AWS stack for a WordPress + Pods installation would be great if i could get some information incase someone has tried this before

  1. What Stack to use the Ready Windows + WordPress Stack available?
  2. if not Windows based then, Which AMI to use? (Ubuntu i386 with Lamp stack)
  3. Any ideas on what the costs of just a basic setup with this instance can be?

Serving static assets with apache is simply a no-no in today's world. Unless you know what you are doing and can somehow configure it properly (not as easy as it seams). I don't think i would ever point anybody to a LAMP setup.
