That would be great if you provide the ability to define the field length when creating the new field explicitly (of course, the default value of that field still provided).

Currently, all fields which have the "Single line text" has field length = 128, and field type = varchar.

For example, I want to create a new field named "my_own_id" which contains of maximum 10 characters only. Then, by choosing "Single line text" column type, I would be able to change that default field length value from 128 become 10.

And that would be great also, if the related textbox's maxlength on the form automatically adjust to that field length value, so user will not type or enter characters exceed that value in the textbox.
