This simple pre-save helper is helpful for pods that need a date as the primary label instead of a name. It copies the date from a date field into the name field when saving a new pod or editing one. It assumes the date field is called "date" and the date format is "April 27, 2010," although these can easily be modified to your needs. It also only auto-generates a name if the name field is blank when saved.
